Delaney was named the winner of the "Dog Bone" award by her Creswell Cross Country Coach Coach Larry Powell this week during a lunch time ceremony at Creswell Middle School.
The award was given for a combination of achievements during the 2012 season including dedication to the program, achieving goals during the season and performance at the meets.
She received a gift certificate for movie tickets.
